The Doctor was dying, that much he was sure of. The heat he felt could only be the fires of regeneration. His head was pounding and his thoughts muddy so he focused on the only thing he could. Rose and her hand, which was stroking his forehead. Oh, he loved Rose. Loved her so much, it was unbelievable. He should tell her, before he changed. Who knew what kind of a man he would turn into?
"R-Rose," he rasped, "I need to tell you something, before it's too late."
"Shh, Doctor, don't worry," she said. Her voice, which he could normally sit and listen to for hours, now made his head pound even more "it's gonna be okay."
"No, I have to tell you!" he said. Rose had an amused expression on her face. What was so funny about this? "Rose, you mean a lot to me, much more than anything in any universe. You saved me and you made me feel alive again. And I… love you. I love you so much. Much more than I ever thought was possible."
"Doctor, you should shut up. Before you say something you'll regret."
"No, I won't shut up and I won't regret this. I know, that no matter what happens, I'll make it, we'll make it, because if I believe in one thing, just one thing, I believe in you, Rose Tyler. You are the most fantastic, beautiful, smart, adorable human I have ever known. I just wanted to tell you before…" he could not continue.
"Relax, Doctor. I swear, it's all gonna be all right. And I'll stay with you, forever if you want me to."
He closed his eyes, as Rose continued to stroke his forehead, enjoying the soothing gesture. His eyelids felt heavier and heavier and against his will he started to drift off, not knowing who he would be, if he ever woke up.
Rose shook her head as the Doctor finally fell asleep. Honestly, humans, time lord, they were all the same. Why did men always act as though they were dying, just because they had the flu?
But as she sat there, watching him, she couldn't help but wonder… he had said he loved her, but surely he was just delirious. The Doctor couldn't be in love with her…

Prompt: Wind
Set in the Switchverse.
"Rose! Rose. Rose. Come on, Rose! Don't make me drag you out here!" The Doctor stuck his head back into the TARDIS, Rose came running across the console room having finally found a hat she deemed suitable. He grabbed her hand, tugging her out the door and closing the TARDIS behind them. "Now Rose, this planet is eighty thousand light years away from earth. It's the year 1473 and it's yet to be inhabited. We're the first people ever to stand on this planet." He jumped on the spot, grinning as she copied him.
"What's it called?"
"Doesn't have a name. In a few thousand years it'll just be categorised with a number."

Only a Message
The Doctor released the controls as he left the TARDIS floating in the Time Vortex. His hands rubbed at his face as he became all too aware of where he was. This was his TARDIS, this should be his home but it didn't feel that way anymore; it should still be their home and he is constantly aware that she is gone when she should be right here where she belongs. She should be tugging at his arm with a grin on her face, laughing and joking with him and making him happy with just the sound of his name on her lips.
"Doctor."
His hearts skipped a beat and he spun on his heels. He knew she couldn't be there, but in the moment he hoped for the impos

Gallifreyan Word
Set in the SwitchVerse.
"Will you teach me Gallifreyan?" Rose covered the Doctor's hands with her own, pushing his palms flat against the pages of her notebook. He slipped one hand from underneath hers, wrapping it firmly around her waist as he kissed her temple. "You don't have to." She shifted in his embrace, settling into a more comfortable position between his legs. "It's just that watching you run your fingers over the words in here, and value every word like this means so much to me. It reminds me of when you used to show me Gallifreyan, it's so beautiful and I just adore it."
"Of course I'll teach you." Before she knew he'd moved he
