Literature Text
I remember the words, read time after time
Each of them a reminder of just how sublime
These books are and how much I miss
The thrill of a new one, the consuming bliss
Of another adventure with Harry, Hermione and Ron
And how, in the end, the good guys won
Although some people may call me silly
I am still saddened by the deaths of James and Lily
I miss Sirius, Tonks, Remus and Fred
But I still remember what Albus Dumbledore said:
"Do not pity the dead, pity those alive
And most of all those, without their loved ones by their side"
In the very end, love was victorious
Voldemort lost, but the battle was not glorious
Foe, friends and family were killed, a fate unearned
Tears were shed as pages were turned
The last page was reached, the final farewell
The story ended and all was well
Although the final chapter is now done
In our soul and hearts, it still lives on
It shaped my life, I am forever in its debt
And I'm not quite ready to let go of it yet
Each of them a reminder of just how sublime

Always Will Be
Set in the SwitchVerse.
Rose wandered into the TARDIS console room, bare foot and wrapped in a pink dressing gown. "Doctor." She walked up towards him as she spoke, dabbing at her wet hair with a towel. "I just want a warning, in five minutes are you gonna come running down the corridors shouting my name? 'Cause it's fine and all, I just want to know if I'm gonna get that gadget shoved in my face or find you dragging me out somewhere whilst my hair's still wet." He put whatever gadget he'd been sonicing down on the console and turned to face her, a look of awe on his face, words sticking in his throat. "What? Oh don't laugh! I've only just g

Worth the Wait
Set the morning after Indescribably Beautiful.
Rose sighed with contentment as she lay in her Doctor's arms, his two hearts beating softly in her ear. She felt him lift his hand from her waist, beginning to trace invisible, swirling patterns across her bare back and pressing the occasional kiss to the top of her head. She smiled subconsciously as she recalled everything that had happened in one night; she had gone from doubting what she meant to him to a state of pure bliss with him humming away in her mind, having shown her the whole of his. She'd had him declare his love for her, even if he'd never said those three words, but it meant so m

"G'night, Doctor." Rose said sheepishly as she rose from her place on the TARDIS pilot chair.
"'Night." He responded, still fiddling with the ship's controls. Being absorbed in his own thoughts and coordinating the TARDIS; he jumped a bit when Rose had come behind him and slinked her arms around his waist.
"AH! Oi, You tryin' to give me a heart attack? Well, hearts attack, hearts attacking?...Anyway." The Doctor trailed off. He turned in Rose's arms and pulled her into a loving embrace. He placed his head atop hers and rested his face against her sun-kissed blond hair and breathed her in. He always loved the way she sme

Your poem made me sniff and cry
We fans won't let the magic die
The bindings on our books may be worn and bent
But it shows our love like a phoenix's lament
At least we have things like Pottermore,
Fanfiction, fanart, memorabilia galore
Reminding us that wherever we roam
Hogwarts will be there to welcome us home.
Not sure why I felt I had to respond in rhyme, but...it is what it is Obviously inspiring. Thank you for your words, it was a gorgeous tribute.
